thank you for your answers!
was it easy??

this is HAKU. short, thick tail. sometime she answer using her tail instead of mewing.

and this is BYAKU. long, thin tail. she answer to dad calling only. i want to ask her why does not she respond to mom, if i can speak cat language.

both tail are hooked type. it is called "happy key tail (the tail like a key shape, can open the door to happy)" in japan.

BYAKU: did you do correct answer?? ;)

  1. Kon Nichi Wa! We are Tama-Chan and Sei-Chan, two Abyssinian cats who live in France. We saw the feature about you on Melvin's blog and came to say hello. You are very lovely and we like your names "Haku" and "Bykau". Very funny!

Our #1 lived in Japan for many years, and still loves to visit.

    Tama-Chan (玉ちゃん) and Sei-Chan (清ちゃん)

  2. Hello again! Thanks for commenting on our blog! Yes, #1's first cat was called 一休 and he was born in Japan. He lived in Tokyo until he was 6 years old, but all his life, he ate only Japanese cat food (the best!). Her next cat was Sen-Chan, for 千菊丸, and we were so sad when he died very young, at only 18 months. Now, it is Tama-Chan and Sei-Chan.

Yes! We have a little tatami room. Just 3畳! It is in a corner of #1's study, where we spend many hours every day.

By the way, one of #1's favourite books is 徒然草。

  3. Hello, nice to meet you and your beautiful cats!

  4. I never heard of that kind of tail before, but it sure looks cute!

  5. You are both beautiful cats.. So lovely..

    Hugs GJ xx

  7. We guess we were wrong. But that is ok because we enjoy talking about the cats.
The girls get more beautiful every time we see them. Give them hugs and kisses from us. We love the "happy key tail". Your blog is very interesting.

  8. It was fun trying to guess...you are both beautiful long OR short tail!!!
